Title: Mobility-Cane and SupportPlatformCentre for the Blind
The office of the Malaysia Organization for the Blind ( MOB ) is located in Brickfields, Kuala Lumpur, where I used to live. When we have tea and dinner at the shops across from the YMCA, seeing the blind knocking over tables and chairs are a common sight. What is most concerning is when you see someone fall over the curb, because the roads are not well maintained and there is no State provided system or personal assistant device, in place to assist them to move around safely.
The most trusted and useful tool for the Blind are their faithful walking cane. To date, the greatest improvement done for this piece of life support equipment is the fact that it is collapsible and shortened when not in used !
As we use new technologies to improve our daily lives, very little has been done for the impaired

High speed and large data package transfer technologies, such as the YTL 4G broadband system, offers innovative opportunities to provide better support and aid to the blind. Corporations like YTL are at the forefront of corporate governance and social contributions.
